En tant qu'interpreceur actif et enseignant qui met l'accent sur toute la gamme du trombone, l'embout buccal me fournit la polyvalence de fonctionner avec un son brillant dans la Tessitua supérieure dans les réglages orchestraux, tout en fournissant un son riche et euphonieux dans le registre inférieur, ce qui serait être attendu d'un tromboniste de basse. L'embout buccal me permet également d'effectuer des passages techniques facilement et d'embellir mon jeu lyrique avec une touche de chanteur.
