Don Harwood's Signature Model Bass Trombone Mouthpiece
This mouthpiece is designed for Don Harwood, bass trombonist in the New York Philharmonic. Don's mouthpiece is designed to make his job easier by projecting the clear independent voice of the orchestral bass trombone while locking in on octaves with the tuba, and supporting the trombone section of the orchestra. This mouthpiece will support any orchestral section, designed with a unique throat and backbore that keeps it controllable, and fun to play in all ensembles. A semi flat rim that is extremely comfortable. Medium deep cup similar to a Schilke 60, and a balanced backbore and throat that project make this a very versitile bass trombone mouthpiece. Rim diameter 28.956mm, 1.139 inches. Throat diameter 7.925mm, .312inches
