De Gianluca L is gemaakt door de noodzaak om te hebben bij veelzijdig mondstuk die zowel in orkest als solist als quintet kan worden gebruikt. De Gianluca S is gemaakt voor lichte muziek of big-bandenmuziek of voor zeer hoge stukken.
