Le tuba Contra-Bass La bouche a une jante intérieure de 1,290 (32,75 mm) et une gorge de 0,335 (8,5 mm). Avec une tasse en forme d'entonnoir profonde et une jante semi-ronde très confortable. La morsure interne de la jante est relativement nette donnant un contrôle sur les articulations et la clarté sur tout le spectre des tubeurs orchestraux représentant. La plus grande gorge combinée à une taille de coupe modérée fournit une circonférence et une largeur de son inégalé par d'autres embouchures.
La tuba de basse La pièce a un bord intérieur de 1,268 (32,2 mm) de diamètre intérieur de jante intérieure avec une gorge de 0,305 (7,75 mm). Avec une tasse de forme de bol de profondeur moyenne et une morsure intérieure relativement acérée sur la jante. Cet embout buccal crée un son d'orchestre fantastique classique, pur et léger. Un réel embout en F tuba avec celui qui apporte une chahute et une excitation à la tuba d'orchestre allumé.
Il n'y a qu'une seule taille de tige pour chaque pièce que la tige est comprise entre l'euro et la norme .528 (13,41 mm)

Contrabass (CC Tuba) Mouthpiece: I originally had been playing on the Alan Baer MMVI, but ended up playtesting and purchasing the Alessandro Fossi Contrabass mouthpiece at the 2026 NABBA Championship. This mouthpiece provided an excellent response with the rich, dark, orchestral sound that I was looking for. The more free blowing throat, when compared to the MMVI, allowed me to personally hit pedal notes with ease even in the quietest of dynamics. A fantastic mouthpiece when paired with my Meinl Weston 3225 Ursus that offers that undeniable orchestral presence.
Bass (F Tuba) Mouthpiece: Having originally been playing on a Robert Tucci RT-64 and loving that gold standard of a mouthpiece, I knew I wanted to make the swap to a giddings bass tuba mouthpiece and wanted to try and find the "right" one when compared to the RT-64. When comparing specs, I found that the Alessandro Fossi Bass Mouthpiece was one of the closest options. The biggest difference being a little bit of a deeper cup. Initially, I was concerned about issues with response when compared to the RT-64, but when I began playing on the mouthpiece my concerns were put to rest. The response was immaculate, providing the perfect blend of that dark orchestral sound, as well as the quick and nimble agility required when playing some of the more demanding repertoire. This mouthpiece has been wonderful, especially when paired with my Yamaha YFB-822, providing me what I have felt has been a great mouthpiece for both soloistic and chamber/orchestral repertoire.
Amazing tone improvement, and helped improve point and shoot centering. Gives a great middle ground that I was desiring with a deep funnel cup while having thick walls. There’s a good chance I’ll be trying out the F tuba mouthpiece when I get my hands on a piston F tuba.
