Hello folks;  I purchased a trombone mouthpiece from Giddings and Webster.  It arrived today, Mon. , and I say to you all, "WOW".  The steel makes such a difference that I may retire all of my brass mouthpieces.  After extensive study of all offerings, I chose the Barber model.  Great choice!  The sound is fantastic with seemingly less effort needed.  The service was excellent,and when I called, Ivan himself answered the phone.  The mouthpiece was shipped in a beautiful protective pouch inside of a pouch with the G & W logo. I am extremely well pleased with my purchase. And now, a little about me:  I am 53 years old and began playing trombone at age 49: not a pro by any means, but it has become the love of my life and I try to play every day. I've experimented with several mouthpieces searching for just the right thing, and although one may need different for varied settings, i.e. lead, choir, orchestra, etc, I may have found my piece. Hi, Ivan!

I feel I have finally reached a comfortable amount of time to give an assessment of what your Mouthpieces have done for me and my playing. 

Firstly, I'd like to state that for most of my career my wallet has never allowed me to be much of a 'gear head:' although I've tried numerous mouthpieces over the past 33 years, I've mainly played one model on my CC tubas since 1991 (Perantucci PT-50 and it's beefier twin 50+). So, when I reached an impasse with my current horn, I finally took the plunge and made my first significant change in over two decades by purchasing your Roland Szentpali models for both CC and F. The first thing I noticed was the consistency in feel between the mouthpieces from horn to horn. Parity is of the utmost importance to me when switching between equipment, and these mouthpieces make this transition a seamless pleasure. I'm also very impressed with the stainless steel construction and the mouth feel this provides me.

I plan on the purchase of a bass trombone in the very near future, and you can count on that mouthpiece becoming a Giddings.

Keep up the stellar work, and thanks for serving the brass community so very well by providing such a wonderful product

I happily tried my first Giddings mouthpiece in 2012. The concept of stainless steel intrigued me. Once I purchased my first, I have played on no other mouthpieces except Giddings. The clarity of tone, ease of response, projection, facility of articulation, and even my technique are all superior with Giddings mouthpieces! His custom work is outstanding, and I now have a Giddings for every occasion. (Almost--I keep finding more occasions...)

Quand le Boréas D'abord touché mes côtelettes, la première chose que j'ai remarquée était le bon sentiment lisse qu'il a donné. Après avoir joué quelques notes, il a continué de se sentir de plus en plus contorqué. Dans ma recherche sans fin de l'ambulure parfaite, j'ai moi-même des points très importants. Le boréas me donne le son grand et large dans le registre moyen et inférieur et le brillant son dans le registre élevé, ce que je trouve le plus important de trombone principal. Cela me donne la possibilité de différencier l'articulation et la dynamique.

L'embout buccal correspond parfaitement à mon trombone Hans Kromat.

J'ai apprécié le processus complet de la commande, de l'expédition, puis de recevoir l'embout le plus étonnant que j'ai jamais joué.

J'ai commandé le titane satiné3 gw helios trompette embout RIM Diamètre 16.50mm ,660 pouces avec une tasse profonde.

Même si cela n'a été que deux jours à jouer à mon nouvel embouchure, le confort et la sensation est indescriptible.

Mon embout buccal Giddings contient tous les éléments que je veux dans un embout buccal. La couleur des nuances, la consistance, le ton que cela apporte à ma corne, la clarté et le bord confortable est tout ce que je pouvais vouloir. Ivan Giddings est un maître artisanal et gourou porte-parole. J'aime mon GWC-100. Je suis heureux d'être avec cette merveilleuse entreprise!
