The Screw on adjustable weight makes a huge difference in tone width and impact.  Giddings mouthpieces worked with Matt Summers on this project.  When you change the outside weight of the mouthpiece you wont believe the difference.  The heavy weight works best outside where your want to keep the sound together and need to project a huge core of sound, while the medium weight is best for chamber ensemble playing, and the light weight responds faster and easier on those delicate fast moving articulate pieces of music.

"The response and sound of my GW mouthpiece is beyond belief. It allows me to shape my playing as I please in any playing environment"
